Önde gelen stablecoin ihraççısı Tether, 15 Ekim’de yayınlanan bir basın açıklamasına göre, Emtia Vadeli İşlemler Ticaret Komisyonu (CFTC) tarafından bir uzlaşma anlaşmasının parçası olarak 41 milyon dolarlık bir para cezası ödemeye mahkum edildi.
Şirket, USDT stabilcoinin bire bir ABD doları tarafından desteklendiğine dair yanıltıcı açıklamalar yaparak Emtia Borsası Yasasını (CEA) ihlal etmekle suçlandı.
