Son Dakika: TCMB Dijital Lira İçin İlk Adımı Attı!
Kripto para çılgınlığı tüm dünyayı kasıp kavururken Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası’ndan önemli bir duyuru geldi. TCMB, dijital lira denemeleri ve geliştirme süreci için ASELSAN, HAVELSAN ve TÜBİTAK-BİLGEM ile mutabakat zaptı imzaladığını bildirdi.
Dünya genelinde pek çok ülke kendi dijital para birimlerini oluşturmak için önemli çalışmalar içerisine girdi. Artık ülkeler teknoloji şirketleriyle iş birliği yaparak bu alana ciddi yatırımlar yapıyor.
Aktarılan son bilgilere göre dijital para yarışına Türkiye’de katıldı. Yapılan duyuruda “Birinci faz pilot uygulama çalışmaları kapsamında TCMB nezdinde prototip “Dijital Türk Lirası Ağı” tesis edilerek teknoloji paydaşları ile dar kapsamlı ve kapalı devre pilot uygulama testleri gerçekleştirilecektir.” ifadeleri kullanıldı.
Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası, elde edilen sonuçlara göre daha geniş kapsamlı pilot testlerin yapılacağını ve ileri aşama fazlara geçileceğini söyledi.
TCMB ek olarak blockchain teknolojisi, dağıtık yapıların ödeme sistemlerinde kullanımı, anlık ödeme sistemleri ile entegrasyon gibi başlıklarda testlerin yapılacağını ifade etti.
Bunun yanında dijital Türk lirasının tedavülüne yönelik nihai bir karar olmadığı ve tüm çalışmaların deneysel AR-GE faaliyetleri ilkelerince devam edeceği belirtildi.
Açıklamalara göre farklı teknolojik alternatiflerin kapasite ölçümleri bittikten sonra, mevcut teknolojilerin dijital Türk lirasına ilişkin iktisadi, hukuki ve mali gereksinimleri karşılayıp karşılayamadığının tespiti amaçlanıyor.
