Aksakov ayrıca, yasama organının ülkedeki tüm kripto para birimi endüstrisini açıkça tanımlayacak çalışmalar yaptığını ve ülkenin CBDC’si için bir çerçeve getirdiğini belirtti.
Rusya, kripto para birimi mevzuatının temelini oluşturan “Dijital Finansal Varlıklar Üzerine” başlıklı bir yasa tasarısını onayladıktan sonra ilk kez 2020 yılının Temmuz ayında kripto para birimlerini yasal olarak tanımaya başlamıştı.
