Senatör Wendy Rogers, ABD’nin Arizona eyaletinde Bitcoin’i yasal bir para birimi haline getirmek için yasa tasarısı sundu
Sunulan tasarı, Arizona’da yasal olarak kabul edilen paralar içerisinde Bitcoin’i eklemeyi, varlığı bir ödeme aracı haline getirmeyi ve vatandaşların Bitcoin kullanarak borçlarını, kamu ücretlerini, vergileri ve aidatlar ödemesini sağlamayı amaçlıyor.
Yasa yürürlüğe girdiği takdirde, şu anda ABD doları cinsinden yapılan tüm finansal işlemler Bitcoin ile yapılabilir. Vatandaşlar maaşlarını doğrudan Bitcoin olarak almayı tercih edebilir.
Tasarı, genel olarak bir kripto para yerine Bitcoin vurgusu yapıyor. Tasarı içerisinde başka bir dijital varlıktan söz edilmiyor.
Tasarı onaylandığı takdirde Arizona, Bitcoin kabul eden ilk ABD eyaleti olabilir.
